Robert A Snyder, Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer of Humboldt State University, overseeing the academic affairs of the individual colleges, the faculty, the Library, Information Technology Services, and the curriculum.

Academic Affairs' Current Events

International Education Week is November 15-20, 2008. The community is invited to learn about international issues and events.

Nominations for the 2008-2009 Outstanding Professor Award are currently being solicited and are due October 30, 2008 to the Academic Senate Office. The award for Outstanding Professor is announced in January and a dinner is held in April to honor the recipient.

Academic Program Prioritization is currently in progress. Departmental and Program reports are currently in the review process with the final report due to the Provost by February 28, 2009.

Fall 2008 Convocation was held on August 19, 2008.

Dr. Lori Dengler is the 2008 Scholar of the Year.

WASC - The WASC Team has visited our campus and submitted their findings.
