This 12-unit graduate certificate program provides students with
training and experience in teaching at the college level
Upon acceptance to one of the master's programs offered by HSU, you can begin to pursue the course work for the certificate while you are completing the requirements for your master's. The certificate takes 4 semesters to complete. Make an appointment with the CFPP coordinator for advising. The program indicates the discipline-specific training requirements in your discipline.
Contact the
graduate coordinator in the appropriate discipline to find out
what application process you should follow to receive the department's
sponsorship. Then, apply for admission to HSU as a postbaccalaureate
student. You will complete the certificate in two semesters, taking 6
units each semester. Contact the CFPP coordinator for advising.
