The Institute of Emerging Technologies and Learning is dedicated to:

  • the fusion of technology and education
  • the conjoining of different disciplines to meet the needs of the new millennium and the Information Age.
Our scope of activities includes
  • training in modern technologies
  • the study and implementation of multimedia and distance learning technologies within new learning environments.

The Institute of Emerging Technologies and Learning was formally established during the Spring semester of 2000, and is operating under the auspices of the Department of Computing Sciences and the Dean of the College of Natural Resources and Sciences.

We are pleased to offer internships and directed research through the Department of Computing Sciences.
