Fall semester 1958.
2. When did you leave the Economics Department?
After spring semester 1992.
3. What fields of study did you teach?
International Economics - trade development, comparative systems, Micro Economics, Economic History, Natural Resource Economics.
4. In what city do you currently live?
Trinidad, CA
5. What have you done since you left HSU?
I follow my hobbies: gardening, skiing, competing in cross country, horse racing, and running.
Travel: Europe, Philippines, South America, Canada
Research: Economic issues in economies transitioning from central planning toward market systems. I gave a paper at International conference in Hong Kong.
I've been taking classes in art appreciation and music at HSU. I will participate in teaching a history course for a Charter High School.
6. Do you keep in touch with any other former Economics faculty? Do you know what any of them have been up to?
Yes. Ron Ross, Bob Kittleson, Bob Dickerson. Ross is in financial advising business. Kittleson is in long term hospital as a result of a stroke. Dickerson is taking classes at HSU.
7. What is your fondest memory of HSU?
Giving the commencement address as a result of being named "Outstanding Professor".
