Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)
needs Instructors

Call (707) 826-5880 for the semester deadline.

The Osher Institute of Lifelong Learning (OLLI) program at Humboldt State University is looking for dynamic and engaging instructors to teach classes. Sponsored by HSU Office of Extended Education since 2005, OLLI offers stimulating, non-credit classes for people over 50. It is part of a network of 120 universities involving 56,000 OLLI members nationwide.

OLLI brings together experienced and interesting professionals with a motivated group of learners in 4- to 8-week classes or shorter workshops. Classes have no homework or tests, and the most successful classes are those which are interactive and which respect and include the life experience of the members.  Most classes will be held at the Humboldt Bay Aquatic Center on the waterfront in Eureka. OLLI classes are offered weekdays and weekends in both the day and evening.

OLLI seeks to expand the variety and number of its offerings. Classes in all disciplines are welcome. If you or someone you know  would like to share your expertise and passion with enthusiastic learners, view upcoming classes here or in the OLLI section of the HSU Extended Education bulletin.

Call (707) 826-5880 for the deadline to submit your proposal. Proposal forms are downloadable here.

For more information, call Laina Warsavage, OLLI Coordinator at 826-3743 or laina@humboldt.edu.
