Your Guide: Giulia Marini

Giulia MariniGiulia Marini was born in Italy, where she studied and worked.

She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Padua, where she worked before coming to the U.S. In 1980 she received a Fullbright scholarship at UC Berkeley. From there, her research took her to Humboldt State University in Arcata, Calif.

From the beginning she gave private Italian lessons and met many interesting people and made many good friends.
She has taught for several years for Extended Education at HSU and community classes for College of the Redwoods.

Now, after many years of hard work in Arcata, she is almost done raising two children. She decided to take some time off and is now living half of the year in Venice. She is looking forward to sharing her beautiful and unique city with you!
