This project will construct and install equipment for five energy conservation measures:

1. Heating-ventilation system long life-cycle motors in 12 buildings and variable speed drives in 10 buildings.

2. Hot water boilers in 4 buildings.

3. High efficiency cogeneration system with hot water distribution to 10 buildings.

4. Lighting controls in 7 facilities.

5. Laboratory fume hood controls in 2 buildings.

The project is self-funded through avoided energy/utility expense, continues aggressive efficiency practices, alleviates continuously escalating costs and will develop power generation capability:
