HSU Completed Projects

LK Wood Lighting Project

This project will install new poles and 'dark-skies friendly' fixtures, increasing light levels to a design consistent with pedestrian and bicycle traffic for HSU's west campus entrance. The existing street light system was designed for vehicles only. The visibility improvements will enhance the safety of all traffic types.  Underground connections across LK Wood Boulevard will be made to redistribute the electrical power for lighting.

The construction has been planned to maintain two-way traffic on LK Wood Boulevard, keeping all intersections open. LK Wood northbound will be closed and southbound lane will be 2-way during the Project. The parking lot adjacent to KHSU will be used for the contractor's staging area for construction. Bikes will be sharing lanes.
