Telecommunication Infrastructure Project (TIP)

telecommunications collage

The California State University System has embarked on this project as part of its Integrated Technology Strategy (ITS) to improve the communications transport system for voice, data, and video. This project will provide the technology pathways, spaces, transmission media and terminal resources to support anytime-anywhere access to information resources for all students, faculty and staff on campus. The project scope includes facilities, network hardware and applications.

This systemwide effort to implement a state-of-the-art telecommunication infrastructure is limited to state-owned, permanent buildings.
