Current Opportunities for Students
Note from Webmaster : I only
post special announcements that I receive from non-traditional sources. I
do not re-post information that is easily available through other sources
(e.g, Forestry Source , EOS , or any of the email newsletter
services mentioned below). SAF is
a great source for information on graduate studies in forestry. If you
are interested in watershed-oriented graduate school information, I encourage
you to become a student member of AGU.
It is very inexpensive (approx. $7/year) and includes both their weekly
newspaper and access to their web site. The Ecological Society of America
sponsors ECOLOG-L ;
this free email listserv frequently has graduate school and employment
opportunities. For students on-campus, another place to check is the list
of educational opportunities kept in the Forestry department office. If
you are interested in general job announcements, training seminars or meetings,
please sign up for the listservs described
below .
