3. question topics

• 3 questions on landslides
• 2 questions on surface erosion
• 2 questions on runoff generation
• 6 questions on rivers & floods
• 2 questions on groundwater
• 3 questions on glaciation
• 4 questions on weathering & soils
• 6 of the questions will be interpretation of slides (including weathering, surface erosion, runoff generation, streams, landslides, and glaciation)
• some questions may involve interpretation of maps, sketches, or graphs

4. my emphasis is on:

1. understanding & using concepts, principles
2. reasoning & synthesizing ideas, NOT rote memorization & repetition of terms and facts
3. logical thinking, analysis, & figuring things out

 

5. Be sure to look at study guide on p. 9-11 of lab manual, especially the study questions. I will be looking at these as I write the exam.
