Packages we offer:
College is an exciting time in a person’s life. Living away from home, however, can also be tough at times—for both parents and students. Our personalized gift packages help parents stay close to their student, even when they are far away. Through our Care Package program, you can send your student birthday cakes, cookie-of-the-month selections, get-well packs, balloon bouquets, rain kits and more.
Basket descriptions
Birthday Celebration
Help someone you love feel special on his or her birthday by sending a Birthday Party! Each package includes a two-tiered, inscribed 8-inch cake, plates, napkins, forks, and a coupon for a two-liter bottle of soda or quart of milk. (Serves 8) $40
Bouquet of Balloons
Brighten any occasion with a bouquet of balloons. Our bouquets include five latex, multicolored balloons along with one Mylar balloon attached to a decorated bag of candy. Occasions include Happy Birthday, Thinking of You, Get Well, Congratulations and Thank You. $17
Balloon Bag
Send someone a little something to show your appreciation. Our balloon bag contains candy placed in a decorated plastic bag topped off with a 9-inch Mylar balloon and three assorted latex balloons. Balloon inscriptions include Happy Birthday, Get Well, Thank You and Congratulations. $12
Cookie of the Month
Our Cookie of the Month package is always a hit with students and it’s easy to understand why. Every month your student will receive a dozen cookies and a coupon for a quart of milk, all placed in a reusable tin. This package comes in a variety of options:
- One academic year (September - December and February - May), delivered the first Friday of the month. $50
- One semester (September - December; or February - May), delivered the first Friday of the month. $35
- Single month. Delivery date is your choice. $15
Get Well Pack
It is always hard being away from home when you are sick. Help your son or daughter feel as close to home as possible with a Get Well Pack. This basket of goodies includes a can of Chicken Noodle soup (vegetarian tomato soup available upon request), HSU reusable mug, crackers, orange juice, throat lozenges, tea bags, and a coupon for two movie rentals. $29
Movie Night
The Movie Night Pack is a perfect gift to help ease the pressure of everyday stress. Attractively arranged in a basket, this pack includes one dozen assorted cookies, a package of popcorn, a coupon for a large one topping pizza, coupon for a 2-liter bottle of soda and 1-pint of ice cream and 2 movie rental coupons. (Cookies may contain nuts.) $45
Rain Kit
Bring sunshine to any rainy day with a Rain Kit. This kit includes coupons for two movie rentals, HSU reusable mug, umbrella, three packs of hot cocoa, two packs of microwave popcorn, and assorted candy, all cheerfully arranged in a basket. $33
Thinking of You
Send someone a light and healthy treat. A basket of three assorted bagels with cream cheese, three assorted muffins and three pieces of fresh fruit. It’s a great way to let your loved one know you’re thinking of them. $22
Finals Packs
Finals Packs are created and managed by the Residence Hall Association. The packages are given out at the end of the semester around Finals week. Details about the packages are available around November (for fall semester) or April (for spring semester).
