The J is the main dining room on campus. From its location atop the Jolly Giant Commons, the J offers panoramic views of Humboldt Bay, the Pacific Ocean, and the Jolly Giant Creek Canyon. The J also serves up a wide range of tasty meals to on and off-campus students every day of the week.

Your choices start with a selection of three entrées per meal (one vegetarian), a build-your-own sandwich bar (lunch only), a salad bar (lunch & dinner), a variety of beverages, snack items, and assorted fruits and desserts. You can design your own breakfast on the "cook-your-own" grill, prepare your own bread or bagel, or pick up one of our "grab-&-go" meals or full breakfast entrées.

The J is also home to a permanent Espresso Bar and the J Grill, where you can get freshly-prepared meals — from gourmet burgers and fries to Chinese and Italian dishes.

Our daily menus always contain a wide variety of choices to suit diners of all tastes. The J also offers special theme meals to celebrate seasonal and campus events, and the large salad bar features a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits and prepared salads.
