Thank you for your interest in our NSF REU program here at Humboldt State University!

Our program in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology encompasses research on everything from bacteria to mammals, and includes ecological field work in some of the most pristine & beautiful habitats on the Pacific Coast.

Currently, we have 16 faculty mentors who you can choose to work with this upcoming summer, and 7 slots for research students.

Our funding has just been renewed, so we will indeed be running an REU program this coming Summer (2008)--and in years 2009 & 2010!

Please visit us again in the future - we have just updated this site (March 17, 2008) and will again to reflect any changes. We encourage you to apply and we have pushed off our application deadline to April 1st.

Our 10-week program this coming summer will run from June 1st to August 8th.
