- Humboldt Orientation Program
- Freshman, transfer and parent orientation programs are available and designed especially to meet the individual needs of each group.
- Homecoming & Family Weekend
- This is a great time to come to campus to visit your son or daughter.
- Care Packages
- Dining Services at Humboldt State University offer a variety of care packages that you can order for your student.
- Finals Packs
- The Residence Hall Association (RHA) offers Finals Packs each semester.
- Join the Parent Listserv
- Parents and Family members interested in receiving periodic updates from the University and in communicating with other parents of HSU students may join the "ParentNetworkHSU" listserv.
- Lodging & Transportation
- Provided is a list of hotels and motels that offer a discount to HSU families. These discounts are available anytime you are here to visit.

Parent Programs are coordinated through the Office of Student Life. More information is available on the Humboldt Parents web site.
I was talking to some people from other colleges who said they had classes with 200 people! At HSU my biggest classes had 40 students at the most. Teachers recognize your face here. I would recommend this college to anyone.
