In all, we offer 49 undergraduate majors, 84 undergraduate minor degrees, 82 options/concentrations, 12 graduate programs, 21 credential programs and several certificates of study.

Humboldt State’s 49 undergraduate majors are grouped into three main academic divisions or "colleges."

The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, for instance, is an intellectual and artistic community that includes 17 departments. Art, English, Music, Native American Studies and Sociology are just a few of the options within this college.

The College of Professional Studies helps develop professionals who are committed to helping individuals and communities realize their potential. Professional Studies is home to 11 departments, such as the School of Business, Child Development, Economics, Education and Health Care.

The College of Natural Resources & Sciences is an ideal fit for students interested in managing and preserving natural resources. Biology, Forestry, Oceanography, Psychology— these are just a few of the 15 departments within this college.
