Islamic Culture Studies

This concentration studies Islamic cultures in all their diversity, from Africa, the Middle East, and Asia to the United States. Students are encouraged to spend their residency abroad in a country with a strong Islamic presence and to learn Arabic or another language indigenous to that country. For a complete description of the requirements for this concentration and related courses, see International Studies in the HSU Catalog.
