Mission
Develop processes to coordinate university software acquisition. Example functions include:
- Help differentiate between "elective" and "infrastructure" software.
- Define and facilitate a process for evaluating and purchasing software.
- When infrastructure softawre licensing agreements are scheduled to expire, or a new infrastructure software need is identified, the CSAWG will evaluate and recommend options.
- Coordinate and distribute information regarding CSU system-wide licensing agreements.
