Accessibility Program - Information on Humboldt State University Cyberspace Accessibility.
Accounts on Central Servers - All faculty are provided with an HSU User Name and Password for use on email (axe), web (sorrel), instructional (redwood) servers and more for the entire time they are associated with HSU.
Activate Single Account/Change Password - Web based form for activating your HSU User Name, and for changing your password using a web browser via a secure encrypted connection.
Activate Multiple Accounts/Change Password - If you are administering multiple accounts, such as for a class special project, use this form for activation and for changing the password. This form is not for administering an individual's HSU User Name and Password.
Computer Hardware Guidelines - HSU suggested minimum computer configurations. Faculty may find these standards useful for student advising.
Computer Labs - Information on interdisciplinary and discipline specific computer labs including lab schedules, hardware and software, problem reporting, how to schedule labs, and printing in labs.
Courseware Development Center - Assistance in developing presentations for use in courses, including overhead projections, digitized graphics, Web pages, and CD's.
Email Client Setup - Instructions for setting up Outlook, Eudora, Macintosh Mail and other email clients.
Email Forwarding and Vacation Reply - HSU email messages can be forwarded to another on or off-campus account. Automatic vacation reply can be set up to notify people that you are away.
Faculty Development Opportunities - Teaching resources, calendar of events, funding opportunities.
Faculty Guide - Technoloy guide for faculty detailing services available at HSU.
Faculty Web Access- Submit grades, view class lists with email addresses, student schedules, magic number lists, instructor class schedule, student academic records (transcript), etcetera.
Forms for Service - Request various services on-line by selecting the Forms link on the ITS home page.
Information Security - Security issues that may affect various computing activities at Humboldt State University.
Information Technology Consultants - Technology related consulting services for faculty at HSU are provided through College ITCs. Each college employs one or more consultants for this purpose.

Virus Protection - Your computer can get a virus from another computer, through modems, networks or disks. Protect your computer from viruses by using anti-virus protections software, and by only downloading programs from sources you trust.
Webmail - Access your axe email from any computer that has a Web browser and access to the Internet.
