Ethical Standards of Service Providers for the Student Disability Resource Center

When completing the paperwork for employment at SDRC, you will read and sign a form regarding Ethical Standards for Service Providers. Following is the Ethical Standards statement:

As a provider of adaptive assistance for a student with a disability, I hereby verify that I will adhere to an ethical standard which respects the confidentiality of the student and complies with the policies and procedures of the Student Disability Resource Center. In addition, I understand and respect the need to serve only as a "tool" for the student with a disability, in no way counseling, advising or interjecting my personal thoughts or opinions into a subject.
