Program Description
The Quito Program is a 12-week full immersion spring program offered exclusively by the Department of World Languages and Cultures to Humboldt State University students from all fields of study. Students from other universities and colleges, as well as community members, are also encouraged to apply.
This program follows the Humboldt State University spring Schedule and generally begins the last week in January and ends the last week in April. Interested students who meet minimum qualifications should apply in the fall semester by completing the on-line application not later than the 15th of November.

Location Ecuador [map] is located on the northwestern coast of South America. It is one of the smallest countries in the region, about the size of the state of Nevada. The continental territory of Ecuador borders Peru to the south and east (approx. 1,420 km), Colombia to the north (590 km) and the Pacific Ocean to the west (2,237 km of coastline) .

1,620,000 inhabitants. It is the country's second largest city. |
