Services for Alumni
The Career Center services are available to alumni free of charge up through August 31 following graduation or completion of a credential program. Beginning September 1 of each year, the following services are available:
Internet Job Search Only -- $10.00 fee:
- Access to HSU Career Center's Springboard job listing service
How to Activate Registration on Springboard:
- Contact the HSU Career Center to arrange activation fee
- Mail a check or money order, made payable to HSU, in the amount of $10.00 to: Career Center, Humboldt State University, 1 Harpst Street, Arcata, CA 95521
- When check or money is received the Career Center will activate your account.
Other Services Available to Alumni -- $25.00 Fee:
- An orientation to the services & resources of the Career Center
- Two one-hour career counseling appointments
- Access to Springboard
- Access to job binders, employer resources, job search and job information
in Room 132
- On a space-available basis, access to Career Center computer stations
for development of resumes, cover letters, applications and electronic
job search
Free Services Available to Alumni:
- A brief intake appointment to discuss career needs and determine whether
a fee service package might be appropriate
- Access to Monstertrak.com
to access on-line job postings by other schools and organizations
- Job-hunting handouts/materials
- Access to Career Links and other information on the Career Center Website
- Attendance at workshops on space available basis
- On-campus interviewing on a space-available basis
NOTE: Alumni are defined as those individuals whom have completed a degree or credential program at Humboldt State University.
