Enrollment Limitations

Undergraduate students will be limited to 16 units when early registration starts in April 2008. The maximum units will be raised to 19 just before the start of the fall semester.

After the limit has been raised, students who wish to enroll in more than 19 units should print a copy of their registration status form from WebReg (see Step by Step Guide to Registration), and obtain approval from their academic advisor. The registration status form, with the approval, must be taken to the student’s major department office for authorization to be entered in the computer.

Due to their academic standing, some students are limited to enrolling in no more than 12 units. Advisors cannot change units for these students. These students should contact the Academic Information & Referral (AIR) Center, SBS 133, for information on their unit limit.
