The Strength and Conditioning area of the 10,000 square ft. Student Recreation Center features a modern state of the art Weight Room complete with seven Olympic lifting platforms, 6 Power Rack squat stations, five bench presses, five incline bench presses, a large dumbbell training area with over 2,500 pounds of weight, over 10,000 pounds of free weight, 3,000 pounds of bumper plates, and a 24-piece circuit of Hammer Strength plate loaded and selectorized machines.
Also available are a stretching and abdominal area, a plyometric and medicine ball area and a large area for cardiovascular training complete with elliptical trainers, treadmills, stairmasters, and lifecycles. Adjacent to the Strength and Conditioning Center is the 55,000 square foot indoor Fieldhouse facility which is utilized for conditioning, speed and plyometric workouts.
