Robert A Snyder, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs is the chief academic officer of Humboldt State University, overseeing the academic affairs of the individual colleges, the faculty, the Library, Information Technology Services, and the curriculum.

 

New Associate Dean

The College of Natural Resources and Sciences is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Frederick (Rick) Zechman as Associate Dean effective July 1, 2012. Dr. Zechman is currently the interim associate dean at the College of Science and Mathematics at CSU Fresno and is a Professor of Biology. He earned his Ph.D. in Botany at Louisiana State University and his M.S. at the University of New Hampshire. His primary area of research is molecular phylogenetics, biogeography ecology and biodiversity of marine and freshwater organisms.

The College has been extremely fortunate to have the services of Dr. Dale Oliver, Mathematics, as our interim associate dean and he will continue in the position through the summer.
