
Humboldt State University welcomed over 1,300 First Time Freshmen to campus for fall 2007. They hailed from all parts of the state and country, are increasingly ethnically diverse, academically motivated, and have interests in a variety of fields.
In addition, there were 36 states represented in the freshmen class with Washington, Hawaii, Colorado, Oregon, Alaska, and Idaho contributing the largest number of students. The leading majors of choice this year were art, biology, business administration, English, kinesiology, elementary education, nursing, psychology, undecided, and wildlife.
