Biography
Born in Chico, CA, I have always loved to draw. I am the fifth generation of artists on my mother's side. I have always been interested in making things look real. I built plastic models as a kid, and still build model ships (my grandfather did also, it is our special connection). I have been fortunate to have had gallery representation in New York for thirty years. I have also shown in galleries in Washington DC, Chicago, Atlanta, Memphis, Indianapolis, Columbus, Los Angeles and San Francisco. My paintings are in many museum and corporate collections. I have painted mostly still-life, but I am also fascinated by the Southwest desert and Native American culture. I love classical music and ancient chant. My art seek to impart a sense of peace and spiritual calm.
