We offer three undergraduate art concentrations: Art Studio, Art Education, and Art History.
The Art Studio curriculum includes innovative courses in Ceramics, Drawing, Graphic Design, Jewelry & Small Metals, Museum and Gallery Methods, Painting, Photography, Printmaking and Sculpture.
The Art Education option prepares students to teach art in grades K-12 in the California school system. The curriculum integrates art criticism, studio production, and art history.
The Art History program offers a variety of classes that explore the global history of art. Courses include lower division survey courses as well as upper division special topics classes in areas ranging from ancient art to contemporary art.
We also offer a Certificate in Art Museum and Gallery Practices.
