Certificate of Study in
Bioinformatics
This curriculum is designed for those who wish to obtain knowledge and skills in the burgeoning new discipline of bioinformatics. This inter-disciplinary program will expose biology, biochemistry, wildlife, fisheries, computing science, and math students to bioinformatics tools and their application as well as provide them hands on experience in practicing those skills. Students who earn this Certificate will help themselves become more competitive for entry into Masters and/or Ph.D. programs and for jobs in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.
