Please come and join us at the 16th annual Chung-Watson Lecture Series in Business Ethics and meet our distinguished speaker this year, Dr. James O'Toole.  O'Toole was named one of the "100 most influential people in business ethics" by Ethisphere and one of the "top 100 thought leaders on leadership" by Leadership Excellence magazine in 2007.  This event will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2009 from 4-6 in the Kate Buchanan Room, University Center at Humboldt State University.

We are very privileged to have Dr. O'Toole with us.  Dr. O' Toole received his Doctorate in Social Anthropology from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.  He was Chairman of the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare's Task Force on Work in America.  He won a Mitchell Prize for a paper on economic growth policy.  From 1994-1997 O' Toole was Executive Vice President of the Aspen Institute and has also served as Chair of the Booz/Allen/Hamilton Strategic Leadership Center.

Dr. O'Toole is the Daniels Distinguished Professor of Business Ethics at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business. O'Toole's research and writings have been in the areas of leadership, philosophy, ethics, and corporate culture.  He has addressed dozens of major corporations and professional groups, and has over one hundred published articles.
