Hands-On Learning Gives You the Edge

Students learn best by doing. That's why we provide you with hands-on learning experiences such as our Student Managed Investment Fund, which provides students with real asset management experience. Fieldwork provides you the chance to apply academic concepts in real-world settings, while honing your critical thinking and analytical skills.

A Solid Foundation

The School of Business offers a bachelor's degree in Business Administration (major and minor). For individuals who'd like to teach business at the junior high and high school levels, we also provide a bachelor's degree in Business Education. At the graduate level, a one year MBA program is available along with a certification program for community college teaching.

Our core curriculum provides a solid foundation. Our options of Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management, and Marketing enable you to focus and specialize in the area of business that interests you most.

Major Field Test Results

HSU Business consistently place in the top 20th percentile on the National Major Field Test in Business.  Over the past ten years we have had scores of 90 or above in five of the years and scores of 80 or above in seven of the years.
