Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, or V.I.T.A., lends a hand by connecting Business students looking for real-world experience and people looking for help with their taxes. Every year at tax time, HSU students provide help for both students and community members to prepare their IRS e-file tax return.

In the spring of 2011, Humboldt State University's VITA program served 175 people and filed 314 returns (164 federal and 150 state).

Spring 2012 Tax Preparation:

If you are interested in help, VITA meets every Wednesday from 5:30pm to 8:50pm in Siemens Hall room 118, no appointment necessary. For more information email sjh39@humboldt.edu
