Budget Information
2009-10 Budget
The California State University system is taking a $564 million reduction in state general fund support for 2009-10. That reduces state general fund support to $1.6 billion, nearly $600 million less than a decade ago. CSU Chancellor Charles B. Reed says the system has never before seen such a devastating cut.
For Humboldt State University, the budget cut is approximately $12 million from a general fund budget of $102 million. President Rollin Richmond is working with campus executive leadership, governance groups and others to deal with this fiscal emergency.
The latest budget news from the campus and the CSU system will be posted here.
