County-Level Reports: Access to Health Care & Food Security

These county level reports show that there are disparities in access to health care with low-income residents having significantly more difficulty accessing needed health care than non low-income residents. Low-income families with children are significantly more likely to report difficulties obtaining needed health care for their children than non low-income families with children.

Another concerning finding is that a high percentage of low-income households with children report episodes of hunger due to not being able to afford enough food.
