The Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) is pleased to announce the arrival of our new Director of Learning Assessment, Sonya Hildreth. She joins us from Fresno City College by way of a brief retirement with travels to Europe and Asia (ask her about it).
Sonya will be overseeing the Service Learning Center (Annie Bolick-Floss, Director), The Office of Assessment, the Center for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (Natalie Walston, Kimberly Vincent-Layton, Joan VanDuzer, Riley Quarles), and the Faculty Development Office (Nikola Hobbel, Coordinator). In addition to her supervisory roles above, Sonya and her expanded work group will be leading HSU’s Assessment process in an effort to implement many of the strategies and tactics outlined by our recent WASC accreditation process.

Also, please help us welcome Annie Bolick-Floss (left) and Nikola Hobbel (right) to our CELT group as well. Our recent restructuring is intended to promote the integration of a number of campus services with the common goal of enhancing student learning experiences. Please keep an eye out on our website for various upcoming events, learning opportunities, and services in the near future.
