Program Information
Anyone may register for one of Center Activities' programs. A small discount is offered to currently enrolled HSU students. Registration may be done in person at our Outdoor Center, by telephone using any major credit card or through the mail by personal check or money order using our mail-in registration form printed from our website. Pre-registration is mandatory for Outdoor Adventures and Aquatic Classes and is recommended for the Leisure Classes as space is limited. Insurance Information: Participation in all of the Center Activities events is at your own risk. Health or accident insurance is not provided. Student or personal health insurance is highly recommended
Permit Information: Center Activities holds special use permits with the Shasta-Trinity, Six Rivers and Klamath National Forests, BLM and California State Parks. We also work closely with Humboldt County Parks, and other agencies as needed. Center Activities is an equal opportunity employer and service provider.
Parking Information: Parking permits are required at all HSU parking lots until 10:00 pm Monday through Thursday, and 5:00 pm Fridays. There is no charge to park on the weekends. One day park permits (good all day) are available at self-serve dispensers on Harpst Street or the library lot for $3.50. You can also find a limited number of coin operated parking meters along these streets: B Street, Harpst Street and Rosson Street. In addition, there is a $58/semester Evening Permit that may be purchased through the HSU Cashier's Office. A map of HSU's parking is available in PDF format.
