Unleash your imagination! Take time off from your rational mind. Melt away shyness, grow confidence, self esteem, be spontaneous, play theatre games and practice being seen and heard without the pressure to perform. Non-stop encouragement replaces critique, judgment and competition in this fun, physical, goofy (proven effective) class. The instructor takes his cues from you and guides you toward personal freedom of expression in whatever direction you choose to go.

This one day experiential Symposium / Solon invites you to be brave or just observe. A collective participation creates a dynamic, daring process of interaction. Topic discussion, stream of consciousness writing, being seen & heard and mysterious fun. Openness, empathy, considerateness, honesty, humor, playfulness. An exciting, stimulating, bold experience awaits you. Let’s be openly curious. Let’s hang out and share. Radicalness may show up.

Introduction to Archery

October 11

Introduction to Archery is open to archers of every skill level. This course is designed to introduce beginning archers to the basic fundamentals of the sport in accordance with the National Training System; this includes: proper posture and alignment, aiming, the release and follow through. This class will utilize the hands-on application of using a bow and arrow in conjunction with demonstrations and lectures. This course will also discuss the proper care and use of archery equipment.

Program Fee: 
$30 HSU Students • $35 All Others
Day and Time: 
Saturday • 11:00am - 2:00pm
Location: 
Recreation and Wellness Center 126
Notes: 
Participants will need to bring $5 on the day of the class to pay for equipment rental
