This course is designed as an introduction to the sport of rock climbing with an emphasis on climbing for enjoyment and health. The course will cover the basic skills needed for technical rock climbing, to include safety considerations, climbing techniques, use of equipment, basic knots, belaying and rappelling.
This six-hour course is the highest level of CPR offered and is designed for first responders and health-care professionals to help care for victims in the event of an emergency. The course contents include recognizing an emergency, legal obligation, preventing disease transmission, working with different breathing barriers for resuscitation, and learning how to care for breathing and cardiac emergencies. Upon successful completion of this course, the participant will receive a certificate in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
Introduction to Archery is open to archers of every skill level. This course is designed to introduce beginning archers to the basic fundamentals of the sport in accordance with the National Training System; this includes: proper posture and alignment, aiming, the release and follow through. This class will utilize the hands-on application of using a bow and arrow in conjunction with demonstrations and lectures. This course will also discuss the proper care and use of archery equipment.

This five hour course gives individuals in the work-place the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for injuries and sudden illnesses until advanced medical personnel arrive. The course contents include how to recognize an emergency, learning how to care for breathing and cardiac emergencies for adults, and how to deal with sudden illnesses, wounds, and injuries to muscles, bones, and joints. Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will receive certification in First Aid and Adult CPR/AED.
