INTRODUCTION TO WINDSURFING

With some of the world's greatest windsurfing spots right here in Humboldt County, this is an opportunity to learn one of the most versatile forms of sailing. This course is designed for beginners, combining both a classroom pre-trip session as well as an outdoor lesson with an optional second day (level II) for practice. Participants will get familiar with the sport by learning the basic knots, equipment and weather considerations needed to enjoy windsurfing.
Mandatory Pre-trip Meeting:
Program Fee: $49 HSU Students, $64 All Others
Program Fee Includes: instruction, windsurfing equipment, and wetsuit. Transportation will be by carpool. Optional camping at Big Lagoon.
