CNRS Mission – The mission of the CNRS is to develop the critical thinking skills needed to collaboratively solve complex problems in science, engineering and natural resources. We graduate literate students who are educated in science and are prepared for professional careers or advanced study in their disciplines.

CNRS Staff
We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Frederick (Rick) Zechman as Associate Dean effective July 1, 2012. Dr. Zechman is currently the interim associate dean at the College of Science and Mathematics at CSU Fresno and is a Professor of Biology. He earned his Ph.D. in Botany at Louisiana State University and his M.S. at the University of New Hampshire. His primary area of research is molecular phylogenetics, biogeography ecology and biodiversity of marine and freshwater organisms.
