Adobe Acrobat Professional X
To install Adobe Acrobat Professional X on the Macintosh computer in your office, please click go, connect to server, and type:
afp://cnrs-osxserver.humboldt.edu
Select software and click connect. Open the Adobe folder.You should find Acrobat Pro X in the list of available software. Drag and drop the dmg file to your desktop and double-click on it to begin the installation process.
Send an email to cnrsitc [at] humboldt [dot] edu for the license code. Once the installation of Adobe Acrobat Professional X is complete, you should reboot your computer.
To install Microsoft Office 2011 Professional on the Macintosh computer in your office, please click go, connect to server, and type:
afp://cnrs-osxserver.humboldt.edu
Select software and click connect. Open the Office folder.You should find Microsoft Office 2011 Professional in the list of available software. Drag and drop the dmg file to your desktop and double-click on it to begin the installation process.
Send an email to cnrsitc [at] humboldt [dot] edu for the license code. Once the installation of Microsoft Office 2011 Professional is complete, you should reboot your computer.
To install Mathematica 8 on the Macintosh computer in your office, please click go, connect to server, and type:
afp://cnrs-osxserver.humboldt.edu
Select software and click connect.
You should find Mathematica 8 in the list of available software.
Once the installation of Mathematica 8 is complete, you will be presented with the Wolfram Product Activation dialog. There are 3 methods to activate Mathematica: online activation, manual activation, and connecting to a license server running MathLM 8.
The default method of activation is online activation. The other activation methods are accessed via the "Other ways to activate" button. If your are installing Mathematica at HSU on your (networked) office workstation please select "Other ways to activate" and connect to the license server mathematica.humboldt.edu which is running MathLM
