Kinesiology Masters of Science

The Master of Science degree in Kinesiology is a thesis and publication program. The blend of engaged faculty, practical and hands-on learning, plus a new state of the art facility will prepare the indidvidual to succeed in a variety of rewarding careers. The Master of Science Degree in Kinesiolgy at Humboldt State offers a range of courses in: Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Biomechanics, Physical Education Teaching/Coaching, Sport & Exercise Psychology, and Exercise Physiology. Five Year Course Rotation

Prerequisites:

  • Courses must have a B- or better in each:
  • Anatomy
  • Physiology
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Biomechanics
  • Motor Learning
  • Sports Psychology
  • Graduate Requirements Exam (GRE):

  • Verbal (425 minimum)
  • Quantitative (425 minimum)
  • Writing (3.5 minimum)
  • **TOEFL (600 minimum or 250 for computer version)
