Dr. David Sleeth-Keppler

Dr. David Sleeth-Keppler (PhD Social Psychology University of Maryland, 2004) is a member of the business school faculty with teaching and scholarly interests in sustainable marketing and small business entrepreneurship. His prior experience includes extensive industry experience as a consultant, helping large companies and nonprofit organization reach the right people with effective messaging strategies. He focuses on research questions such as: What types of consumers exist across societies? What are people's hidden motivations to consume? How do people make decisions when they shop? How can people be encouraged to consume less? His work has been published in numerous scientific outlets, including the Journal of Consumer Psychology, Psychological Science and the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
