"The Cultural Resources Facility serves not just its clients, which represent a wide range of government agencies, but also much of the local community. The Facility's archaeological, botanical, and historical reports are accurate, detailed and comprehensive. They describe protection of significant cultural and biological resources that would otherwise be in dange of damage or destrcution. Among the beneficiaries of the Facility's work are: local Indian tribes, historic and environmental organizations, the general public, and the land itself. There is no other local resource with the ability and intengrity to provide reports with such a high level of reliability. Thus, the Cultural Resources Facility fulfills an important goal of Humboldt State University: the linking of the local community with University through beneficial use of University resources".
