Moving & Delivery Services

Moving & Delivery Services delivers all the University's freight and mail, moves all of the University's office and classroom equipment, furniture, supplies, and event tables and chairs. Business hours are 8:00 a.m. until noon and 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Moving

If you need office furniture moved, either mail or fax a Moving Request Form to Moving Services. Moves are scheduled first-come, first-served; however, most small moves can be can be taken care of by the next business day.

If you need additional classroom furniture, either mail or fax a Classroom Furniture Request Form to Moving Services. We will deliver the furniture to the classroom by the next business day.

Moving boxes are available for purchase. There is a $2.00 per box charge. Please order by filling out the Moving Request Form, or by calling 3932.

Set-Ups

Due to staffing shortages, Moving Services can no longer provide set-up service for events.

The Moving Services personnel work Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For moves, activities, or functions that need to take place after 5:00 p.m. or on weekends, there will be an overtime charge.

To avoid overtime charges, please keep in mind when planning your activity and/or reserving rooms or other facilities that we will need time to deliver and put back or store the equipment during regular working hours.

Delivery

Freight is delivered and picked up between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. every business day. Next day air packages are given high priority and will be delivered by 3:00 p.m. each business day. To ensure that outgoing packages and next day air parcels are processed the same day, you must arrange for pickups before 2:00 p.m.

In addition to delivering packages received by Shipping & Receiving, the Delivery Service also delivers packages received by the Foundation Office and orders processed by the Graphics Department and the University Copy Service.

Get Acrobat Reader Distribution Services downloads require Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe Acrobat Reader can be download from the Adobe Website and is free for use.
