Post-graduate Credentials
HSU's School of Education offers the following state approved credentials:
Administrative Services:
Preliminary (Level I)
Professional Clear (Level II)
Elementary Education:
2042 Preliminary Multiple Subjects Credential – This credential qualifies the holder to teach in a self-contained classroom (teach all content areas to one group of students including English language learners) usually in grades K-8.
Secondary Education:
2042 Preliminary Single Subject Credential — This credential qualifies the holder to teach a single content area subject to multiple groups of students (including English Language Learners) usually in grades 7-12.
Special Education:
Mild to Moderate Preliminary
Moderate to Severe Preliminary
