The ERE faculty is pleased to announce that Dr. Andrea Achilli has accepted the position of Assistant Professor in the Environmental Resources Engineering program beginning Fall 2012.
Dr. Achilli received his Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2009. He will be teaching ERE courses (likely ENGR 351 and co-teaching ENGR 416) and beginning his local research on membrane reactors in the fall.
Dr. Achilli's research interests include membrane-based treatment systems for water reuse and energy recovery, environmental applications of membrane separation processes, biological processes for water and wastewater treatment, and renewable and sustainable energy systems.
We are looking forward to Dr. Achilli’s contributions to the Environmental Resources Engineering program.
