Effective with the Fall 2012 semester, students who complete an ERE major degree will not be required to take a separate Area E course, assuming you opt to graduate under the 2012/13 catalog (or later). So if you haven't yet taken an Area E course, be sure to talk to your advisor about your catalog year election, and how to take advantage of the Area E GE course waiver for ERE majors.
