Graduate Research Assistantship in Environmental Engineering - M.S./Ph.D. Studies 2014 at Marquette University

The Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering, Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) invites applications for Graduate Research Assistantships for Ph.D. or M.S. students to start August 2014. Positions are available to research:
(1) anaerobic biotechnology,
(2) wastewater biosolids pyrolysis for renewable energy,
(3) nutrient removal and recovery,
(4) advanced oxidation processes, and
(5) impacts/treatment of micropollutants in engineered systems.

The successful candidates will join an environmental engineering group—Drs. Daniel Zitomer, Brooke Mayer, and Patrick McNamara—studying water/wastewatertechnology (http://www.eng.mu.edu/Mayer_Lab/ and http://www.eng.mu.edu/Zitomer_Lab_Group/index.html).

Applicants should have a B.S. or M.S. in an engineering discipline and interest in water/wastewater technology or renewable energy. The successful candidates must apply and be admitted to the Marquette University graduate school (http://www.marquette.edu/grad/).
