Sustainable Living Skills &
Permaculture Design Certificate Program

Sept. 27-Oct. 29

Located in Cottage Grove, Oregon, the Aprovecho Research Center provides courses designed to teach students about how to create communities that are more sustainable and self-sufficient.

Each summer and fall, up to 14 interns join the ten staff members of the Aprovecho Research Center for an intensive learning experience.

Studies focus on sustainable living and permaculture design. All classes consist of lecture and hands-on application, and typically run 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Interns live in the straw-bale dormitory or camp, and participate in the active daily life of the ecologically-oriented research and education center.

Academic credit is available through Humboldt State University.
